VIMID Receives Certificate of Merit from Ha Dong Labor Federation: A Highlight in the 2024 Trade Union Movement

The Trade Union of Vietnam Machine Investment Development Joint Stock Company (VIMID – Stock Code: VVS) was honored with a Certificate of Merit from the Ha Dong District Labor Federation in recognition of its outstanding achievements in promoting excellence in labor and building a strong, effective trade union in 2024.

On January 9, 2024, the Ha Dong District Labor Federation held its Annual Trade Union Review Conference, reviewing activities in 2024, setting tasks for 2025, and launching the new year’s emulation movement. At the event, VIMID’s Trade Union was once again awarded the certificate for “Outstanding Achievement in the Labor Excellence Emulation Movement and Strengthening Trade Union Organization in 2024.”

Throughout the year, the VIMID Trade Union demonstrated initiative and strong engagement in various movements and activities organized by the Ha Dong District Labor Federation. The union actively and enthusiastically participated in sports competitions, cultural performances, and charitable programs. These initiatives not only strengthened unity and camaraderie within the company but also reflected VIMID’s deep sense of humanity and community responsibility.

In addition, the VIMID Trade Union made meaningful contributions through practical initiatives aimed at supporting the community and members in need. Over the past year, the union took part in building charity houses for disadvantaged families, providing relief for households affected by natural disasters, particularly floods, and supporting union members with disabilities in broom-making production to help them earn a stable income.

The Trade Union has consistently fulfilled its role in representing, protecting, and caring for the legitimate rights and interests of its members and employees, in line with the directives of the Ha Dong District Labor Federation, the Hanoi Confederation of Labor, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Notably, during the ceremony, in addition to team achievements, three individual VIMID Trade Union members were also honored with Certificates of Merit from the Hanoi Confederation of Labor and the Ha Dong District Labor Federation for their outstanding performance in trade union and emulation activities throughout 2024.
