The only technician from Vietnam to win an award at SINOTRUK Global “Elite Team” Championship
On October 31, 2025, Mr. Nguyễn Duy Hiền, the technician representing Vietnam Machine Investment Development Joint Stock Company (VIMID – stock code: VVS), proudly received the “Excellent Award” at the SINOTRUK Global “Elite Team” Championship 2025, held at SINOTRUK Global Marketing Service Training Center, China.
Remarkably, Mr. Hiền was the only representative from Vietnam to reach the global finals — a recognition of VIMID’s outstanding technical capability not only domestically but also on the international stage.
The SINOTRUK Global “Elite Team” Championship 2025 is a prestigious international competition organized by SINOTRUK Group, attracting hundreds of top technicians from across the globe — including East, West and North Africa, Mexico, Latin America, Europe, Russia, Australia, the Philippines, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Among them, Mr. Nguyễn Duy Hiền from VIMID was Vietnam’s sole finalist, having successfully passed multiple rigorous selection rounds to earn his place in the competition.
The contest featured three main categories: Technical Theory, Mechanical Assembly & Disassembly, and Electrical Troubleshooting. Contestants were evaluated comprehensively on their technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and practical skills — emphasizing precision, agility, and professionalism.
With his solid technical foundation and years of hands-on experience, Mr. Hiền delivered an exceptional performance, earning the Excellent Award — a testament to the world-class skill and professionalism of VIMID’s technical team.

As Vietnam’s only representative, his participation provided valuable opportunities for exchange and learning alongside top technicians from other countries, while also demonstrating the growing competence of Vietnam’s transport and engineering sectors on the global stage.
