SITRAK C7H was launched at the 2017 Auto Show

In the Auto Expo 2017, held at the Vietnam–Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace from June 7–10, 2017, Vietnam Machine Investment Development Joint Stock Company (VIMID), authorized by Sinotruk, officially introduced the new SITRAK C7H — a premium truck built to European standards, perfectly suited for diverse transportation demands in the Vietnamese market.

The idea of creating an upgraded product meeting European quality standards had been part of Sinotruk’s long-term vision. Finally, the SITRAK C7H, a fully refined product, was unveiled to the public at Auto Expo 2017 — showcasing a robust design and powerful performance.

This model is a high-end heavy-duty truck, jointly developed by Sinotruk and MAN Group (Germany). From design, assembly, and production to testing and quality inspection, every step adheres to German MAN standards and technology.

The SITRAK C7H is equipped with a MC11 engine (10,518 cm³ displacement) delivering maximum torque of 2,100 Nm, paired with a ZF gearbox from Germany, a MAN-technology 440HP engine system, and MAN-technology axles — ensuring excellent stability, powerful load capacity, and fuel efficiency.

According to Mr. Nguyen Vu Tru – General Director of VIMID, in addition to its strong engine, the SITRAK C7H also features an advanced safety and control system including ABS, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBS), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), and Hill Start Assist (HAS).

With these advanced technologies, the SITRAK C7H truly stood out as a highlight of Auto Expo 2017, the international exhibition for transportation vehicles and supporting industries.

At the same event, VIMID and SINOTRUK also showcased various improved and certified vehicle models that have gained strong trust among Vietnamese customers — including dump trucks, mixers, and tractors. Among them was the HOWO V7G dump truck, a special edition for 2018 featuring remarkable technological upgrades.
